Ideally, yes. You can make salary and other payments in GBP from your home bank account but the costs are likely to be high.

That is not a problem. Many businesses these days have homeworking arrangements, and if you only have one or two employees intially there is little point to running premises. We can provide a virtual address for correspondence until you are ready to get your own offices. But remember: as soon as you have employees, you must take out employers’ liability insurance, and follow Health and Safety rules, even if your team work from home.
